“Wood forms and panels are the stage for her expressive collage techniques which incorporate hand painted paper, images and text. Her wood forms challenge the viewer to identify sources of materials used yet offer the viewer quotes that hint at the meaning of each piece. Cecilia’s intuitive collage on canvas offers a more complex scenario by using color, texture, form and composition to tell a story usually about human emotions and situations. Levels of complex meanings reveal themselves through the titles of each work while common found objects create uncommon beauty.    ”
