Frequently Asked Questions

Simply reach out to our team, providing us with your vision, and we will swiftly develop a plan that will transform your dreams into lasting memories.

Do we need a permit to say “I do” on a Maui beach?

Often yes — public beaches require a State of Hawaii Permit and insurance and Resorts need permission from the Property Manager and Insurance. Don’t worry, we’ll help you find the right spot and get all the paperwork done for you.

How long before our big day should we hire a Wedding Planner?

If you want a peak-season date, snag your Maui Wedding Planner 6–12 months out. For chill weekday elopements or micro weddings, 4–8 weeks can often do the trick but remember, you want the top vendors for every aspect of your wedding so earlier is always better!

Can we just bring our own officiant and elope?

Totally. Many couples do exactly that — simple, sweet, and personal. We’ll handle the permits and marriage license filing. If you use our Officiants, we’ll still personalize your ceremony wording and experience.

How do we choose between an on-site wedding and reception venue and having a beach wedding then moving to a reception site?

On-site receptions are simpler for logistics but carry a much larger price tag, while off-site receptions are more budget friendly and offer more menu flexibility. We’ll help you weigh costs, guest flow, and budgets to pick the best fit for your vision.

How do we mix the ceremony and honeymoon without feeling rushed?

Book a chill buffer day after the ceremony for photos and naps, then plan 1–2 special honeymoon experiences (sunset sail or spa). We’ll help you pace it so it feels like magic, not a sprint.
