Hawaii Elopement Packages

Selecting From the Many Dream Hawaii Elopement Packages

Hawaiian elopement packagesPlanning a destination wedding in Hawaii needs careful planning and not all Hawaii elopement packages are the same. You’ll need to get a marriage license and work with local vendors. Each step is important for a smooth and unforgettable wedding. We would love to be the Destination Wedding Planner you select to create your dream wedding.  Please check out our reviews to see what previous clients are saying.

Let’s look at the key things to consider for great Hawaii elopement packages.

They should include the following without additional charges.

  1. Secure the Marriage License: Hawaii has its own rules for getting a marriage license. Make sure your Planner explains the process early on or is willing to guide your through it.
  2. Choose the Perfect Venue: Hawaii has many beautiful spots, like beaches and botanical gardens for large groups and remote cliffs and waterfalls for intimate adventures. Pick a place that fits your dream wedding.
  3. Collaborate with Local Vendors: Hawaii wedding planning means working with experts like photographers and florists. They’ll help make your wedding special. Make sure those vendors are included in your package or at least presented to you as options if you’d like them.
  4. Pictures to review to help you select products and services. One way we offer this is through Pinterest. We also offer a list of ideas that you may wish to select from.
  5. Manage Guest Accommodations: Find a Maui Wedding Planner that offers help for your guests to book their travel and stay. This makes their experience easy and enjoyable and shows how thoughtful you are.

Hawaii Elopement Packages Can Include A Cultural Immersion

Traditional Hawaiian WeddingHaving your Hawaii wedding in Maui lets you and your guests dive into the area’s rich culture. We can explain to you about Hawaiian wedding traditions and even add hula, music, and fire dancing to your Maui wedding. We can even arrange a lei-making class to your big day. This way, your Maui wedding ceremony will be full of meaning and true to the local culture.

One special way to honor Hawaiian traditions is with a traditional blessing ceremony. This is called the Pule Welina. A Hawaiian officiant performs it, offering blessings, chants, and exchanging leis.

  • See the beauty of hula dancing, which shares island stories through hand gestures and sways.
  • Join a lei-making workshop. You and your guests can make beautiful floral adornments to wear and give during the ceremony.
  • Listen to the traditional Hawaiian music, from the ukulele to the conch shell’s haunting sounds.

By embracing the Hawaii wedding culture and traditions, your wedding day will be both beautiful and meaningful. It will connect you and your partner to the Hawaiian islands’ rich history and spirit. This is an important aspect to selecting Hawaii elopement packages.

Coronavirus in Hawaii

The Coronavirus in Hawaii and our concerns for you…

Coronavirus HawaiiBeing asked to be part of your special day, to play a key role in your special Hawaii wedding is a true honor. I approach each wedding as a privilege. You’ve found the love of your life and you’re ready to marry and walk the same path in life. You’re ready to elope in Maui and feel the sand between your toes…

And then the world goes into a panic. Unlike anything we could have predicted.

Many of you have questions and I encourage you to contact us. We’re happy to help alleviate concerns and help you plan for something special in the future. We believe that we all must have hope and aloha for a brighter future. Looking forward to something will help us all get through this.

Maui weddingWondering when the Coronavirus might hit Hawaii weighs on everyone’s mind here.  Your Maui Wedding Team is diligently washing hands often, antibacterializing the equipment, washing down surfaces every 15 minutes and attempting the 6′ rule between strangers. We are sharing the aloha by watching out for shut-in neighbors, helping the elderly and watching over each others’ families. Our lives are fairly normal notwithstanding those adjustments. The Communities on Maui haven’t gone into a panic mode as it sounds like many places in the World has. Our hearts break as we read the news and hear what you all are going through. We hear your panic and your concerns as we don’t know what governmental changes will be administered next.

Maui WeddingsSo where does that leave your dream of a Maui wedding? Please continue to plan your special day. If you feel more comfortable planning further out, then do that… but please don’t give up your dream out of fear. We will get through this. There will be an “other side”. Let your other side be bright and hopeful and ready for a brilliant future. Don’t wait in sadness and bleakness. You can inspire others with your own hope and optimism.

Wedding Venues

How to select from the vast number of  wedding venues for your destination wedding?  Maui is always a safe bet…

Maui wedding venuesThe Hawaiian Islands lay like jewels scattered on blue velvet cloth. Each one unique. Each one with a story. Why Maui for your wedding? Let’s start with the legends behind this island.

Maui was one of the demigods of Hawaiian folklore. The story of Maui is a story of strength, character, and one that in mythology at least, brings the other islands to life. As told, Maui pulled the other Hawaiian Islands from the bottom of the sea using a huge hook just to prove to his brothers that he was a great fisherman. When his mother complained that the days were neither long enough or warm enough, he lassoed the sun to keep it from moving so fast across the skies, created the incredibly long warm days.

Maui wedding venueHe even used his strength to lift the skies higher away from the tree tops and the high mountains creating the magnificent ocean views that surround this island. Without Maui there would be no Hawaii – and without Hawaii there would be no way to know what paradise truly is. Maui has matured into a welcoming and inviting island, with one foot in the new world and one foot that still trusts the demigod that it is named after to hold up that big blue sky.

Olowalu plantation houseDid you know that Maui has 30 miles of red, white, and black sand beaches – a total of 80 beaches overall and more beaches than any other Hawaiian Island. The largest banyan tree in the world resides on Maui. It was planted in 1873, just 8 feet tall and has since grown to inhabit almost a full acre. And SIXTEEN TIMES Conde Nast Travel magazine has voted Maui the ‘Best Island in the World’. That is quite a distinction.

If you are still not sure that Maui is the island for your destination wedding, then let us introduce you to some of our favorite Maui Wedding Venues.

Then just pack your bags, head to paradise and marry the other half of your dreams.
